James is a focused and enthusiastic student at Durham University who strives for academic and sporting excellence. James achieved top grades in his GCSEs and A-levels and is currently studying for a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Durham. James played sport at school and now Durham University at a high standard. Whilst at school he undertook work experience at the European Bank of Research and Development (EBRD) and attended the John Locke Institute Summer School and was awarded a High Distinction grade for his contribution there. James is a self-starter has taken paid work at every opportunity, this has primarily been during school or university holidays in the events and hospitality industry in London. In 2021 James took a gap year which he funded himself by working as a PE teacher/rugby coach at his school and at various large events in London, and then travelled around Central America for the first time.
