  • Since joining Modern.Gov I have expanded my knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure and software learning. I started out in 1st line support, progressing to the Implementations team. I am responsible for many roles in the company that consist of:
  • Installation and maintenance of bespoke software including LAN/WAN support, server maintenance and support, Active directory, VPN and remote access, Android/Windows and Apple application setup
  • Supporting the infrastructure of the company’s network, firewall, servers and PCs
  • Entra ID, ADFS, WebDav and exchange integrations
  • Improving implementation of the Modern.Gov application through process streamlining and creation of installation scripts, resulting in increased cost-effective delivery of the software
  • Diagnose, troubleshooting and resolve a range of software, hardware and connectivity issues. Excel in asking probing questions and researching, analysing and rectifying problems.
  • SQL server database moves and installations
  • Supporting the infrastructure and configuration of our hosted customer solution
  • Software installation and setup of new/old refurbished laptops for staff
