At Spaceforme, we are a small but effective team, and I wear a few different hats, including:

  • Business Development -

As part of my BD role, I have found and made contact with prospects and gained interviews with some major designers and providers in the educational space - Apteriors, Red Apple Designs, Space Zero and Deanestor Scotland to name a few.

I have also contacted schools directly to get in contact with key decision makers and initiate classroom trials, leading to large-value quotes in the pipeline (LAE Stratford and the Mosslands School).

I split my time between being in the office searching for prospects and being out on the road, in meetings, at trade shows and delivering samples to clients.

I have been trusted to represent Spaceforme overseas, meeting with some of our largest customers and suppliers in places including China, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands.

  • Customer Service -

Handling email inbox, processing quotes/orders, answering phone calls and dealing with customer queries.

  • Marketing -

Since joining Spaceforme, I have collaborated with the Marketing department and posted weekly on my personal LinkedIn account, building a network of customers and updating them with product information/launches, initiatives and Spaceforme news.

Since July 2025, I have also taken over the running and content creation of the official Spaceforme account and affiliated pages (blog posts etc.). As part of this, I have created a case study - including photos, video testimonial and blog post - of a school that has been using Spaceforme products for 8 years.

  • Whilst working at Plus Packaging, I completed a varied range of activities, such as joining multiple meetings regarding multiple areas of the company, including sales and marketing, budgeting and a meeting with potential new suppliers.
  • I also completed over 100 cold calls on the phone, as well as multiple in-person and was able to collect multiple new leads for the company to follow up, as well as removing duplicate accounts to ensure that the database is fully up-to-date.
  • Further to this, I also shadowed each of the different departments for a day, which allowed me to understand how the departments support each other, and follow the process of making a sale right from sourcing the products to delivery and customer service after the sale.
  • Finally, I also helped the marketing team by creating a range of 'stock' videos for their social channels.
  • This experience was hugely valuable and allowed me to fully understand the inner workings of a business in more detail.

  • I was a member of the SLT in our campus for three years, working across the range of Video, Mental Health and Wellbeing and Events Teams.
  • Whilst I was not a lead in these teams, it allowed me to demonstrate my capability as both a leader and a team player whilst under pressure, especially in the Events Team, as we would have very short notice (of one or two weeks) in which to plan and carry out an event, requiring me to both support the leads in the planning and execution stages, and to lead students on the day, which required exemplary organisational, time management, problem-solving skills.
