Hardworking, confident individual who likes to challenge himself to learn new skills and improve every day. I believe in working to achieve results of the highest standard, no matter the role.
During my time as Kitchen Manager in Romania I learnt how to work with other members of staff and customers whose native languages weren't English and communicate despite language barriers.
I was in charge of ensuring everything in the kitchen was all up to the health requirements, such as dates and hygiene standards and an overall clean environment, passing all the frequent inspections that would take place.
I would do all the stock orders for the day by collaborating with several different suppliers making sure we had what we would need. I would also intervene if any issues would arise regarding the orders by communicating with other store managers and use all possible resources to obtain any needed item to keep the service going smoothly.
I learned how to be in charge of a group; making sure everyone knows what they have to do and how to do it to a high standard level.
I trained up new members of the kitchen, teaching them what needs to be done and how to do it in the most efficient way possible
I learnt how to socialise and work with customers, while attending to their needs and inquiries.
I quality checked every item I picked, making sure customers get the best of each ordered product.
I learned how to improvise in case of any emergencies or unexpected situations.
I had to learn new computer systems and scheduling tables to set all the delivery drivers on their route for the day and find the quickest and best ways to get to each point.
At Roys I learned how to be a part of a team and collaborate to get all the work done at a fast pace, while keeping the work efficient and standards high.
I got used to a high effort job in a tough environment with heavy manual lifting for up to 8 hours of the day.
I worked deliveries, as well as the stock, learning skills on the logistic side of things as well as the manual side of things.
I worked at Colemans Group under a 6 month program. Here I learnt a lot about working under pressure while having to follow strict deadlines, making sure every packaged delivery was secured safely and organised to the best standard as possible.
Having to do this job by myself also taught me how to organise my own workload to meet all the heath and safety requirements and the high standards set. It has improved my self-managing skills.
