The Trainee Manager Role at GLL is a two year management scheme that includes completing a placement within the company. Since the start of my programme, I have successfully completed two month placements in Concierge (front of house), Marketing (head office), Customer Service Centre and a lifeguard/Senior Recreational Assistant (SRA).

• Concierge - I completed two months at the Leyton leisure Centre where I delivered a high standard of customer service, whilst dealing with different scenarios that ranged from membership queries to payment issues.
• Marketing - I completed a two month placement at the head office supporting the marketing team with tasks including website editing, website auditing, centre auditing and CMS training.
• Customer Service Centre - During this placement, I focused on delivering excellent service through telephone and email communication. I was part of the membership and lesson & courses team. My duties included: selling memberships, taking payments, general enquiries and supporting a variety of different customer needs.
• Lifeguard/SRA - I performed this role in one of GLL's flagship centres, The Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre. I supervised a team of lifeguard and recreational staff, performed pool tests, writing staff matrix and cleaning tasks within the centre.

• Duties include providing quality customer service, fully trained on all areas of the branch and head of managing training of all members of staff.
• Deliveroo stock management and E-Commerce order completions.
• Meat, Fish and Deli trained on counters delivering fresh produce to customers.

Over the course of four contracts ranging from 3 months to 9/10 months, I worked as a football (Soccer) trainer based in Denver, Colorado. I also covered the states of Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska and New Mexico.

• My main roles consisted of working with a set team for the spring and fall seasons and then in the summer directing and supervising summer camps ranging from 30-100 participants each week. Age range of children were between 4 to 18 years of age.

• Working with the U18’s development squad where my role was to design daily sessions plans and coach different aspects of training.
• I was also involved in match days, workshops and fitness/health testing for the squad.
