I have made a difference in my current role because when I first started, gut feeling was the driver for decisions whereas now, data is one of the key factors to making decisions which has proven to benefit the business. One example of this is, I worked on a project that was to analyse the environmental impact of removing road toll booths to open road tolling. This piece of analysis has such a positive impact, this analysis was presented in the House of Parliament which gained support from the MPs.

Another example is, there was a financial strain on a planned operating task. I carried out an analysis to understand the task, analysed the most efficient method and presented it to the Operating Manager, this new method was implemented. After a year of this new method, the was significant financial saving and n increase in efficiency.

I am currently a data analyst lead, leading a small team of analysts that produce meaningful reports and dashboards for the stakeholders across the business. This shows my leadership skills and also my ability to work with a team of experts.

• In my current role, I report to CEO and COO of the business allowing them to make data-driven decisions for operating and strategic decisions. One of the proudest projects I have worked on is supporting a business to go from a toll booth operating company to an open road tolling company. Within this change I worked on mapping out databases requirements, date processes, data modelling and data forecasting. I presented findings of the environmental benefits of the project which then was presented In UK parliament by the local MP to the head of environmental affairs allowing the business to gain support. I have worked with a range of departments gaining knowledge in Finance, Marketing, ESG, Projects, contact centre and even knowledge around stakeholder engagement. I have great experience working with all levels of the business, from board directors, investors, client, third party companies to the admin staff and contact centre agents. My work has had a major impact on the business by helping the senior management team make decisions and help to direct them in a way to improve customer service, to build financial strength and to boost stakeholder confidence which overall contributing to the company mission to then achieve the business vision.
