- Procurement and logistics of all packaging for Hedonism Wines and warehouse/general supplies. Purchasing (domestic and overseas), forecasting, negotiating with suppliers, storage and sourcing more sustainable alternatives.
- Stock control - Checking inbound stock is received as expected against purchase orders and efficiently managing storage of stock on site and movement of stock between sites. Full responsibility for annual stock takes and company wide stock management.
- Implementing the dispatch strategy from the warehouse. I have overseen the successful transition of orders being dispatched from our site. We have gone from 0 to over 20,000 dispatches in the last 7 years. This was achieved through utilising our stock management system (Vintner), developing processes that maximise efficiency and accuracy and training our 12+ person team in these guidelines.
- Communicating via email, phone and in person with sales staff, buying team and external couriers to ensure clients receive their goods to the highest standards and within time frames that exceeds expectations.
- Liaising with third parties to release bonded stock.
