  • Uncovered the Kenneth Law poisoning scandal, leading to the Canadian chef being charged with 14 counts of first-degree murder. Produced an award-winning podcast, Poison, to go alongside our investigation.
  • Went undercover at a third-party fundraising firm and revealed how young recruits were taught tricks in order to secure donations from the public. It prompted an investigation by the Fundraising Regulator.
  • Exposed allegations of sexual assault against members of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

  • Sourced exclusives from contacts, edited copy, ran freelance reporters and liaised with the news desk in London.

The BBC (June 2006; London)


I worked alongside some of the most experienced journalists in the country for two weeks – preparing packages for a daily television news bulletin.
