I am a young individual who is currently employed as a waitress in a Bangladeshi Restaurant and Takeaway in Cannock. I always aim to invite customers in with a welcoming and engaging personality and work my hardest to ensure they receive a high quality of care towards them.
I am working towards becoming an enthusiastic and reliable professional takes pride in providing excellent customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for restaurant customers. I wish to become much more skilled in anticipating customer needs, addressing complaints and resolving issues in timely manner. Maintains focus and positive attitude in stressful situations and high-volume environments.
As part of understanding my role, I was given an understanding of the different roles and responsibilities in the restaurant. I was able to see the importance of each role, and through this, I was able to understand which was was more suitable to me.
Whilst being trained by my manager, I have been aiming to increase my list of transferrable skills. One of my aims are to gain a lot of experience to increase my confidence and communication skills. I have slowly been learning the ways on how to professionally talk with customers and effectively communicate with them through my job.
One of my responsibilities are to ensure our customers are satisfied with the level of hospitality they are being received and if they had any issues or concerns, it is my job to ensure this is to be reported to my manager for feedback.
Another one of my roles include ensuring that everything between the kitchen and front staff was running smoothly. By doing this, it reduces the risk of conflict and produces a quality of service to our customers.
After some time, I eventually got used to the fast pace of cleaning areas, serving customers and then repeating the same process.
