  • The PreMed Projects. This virtual work experience was led by two junior doctors which I found extremely beneficial as it was an enjoyable yet very productive session. It gave brilliant insight on work within healthcare whilst also teaching me about the human body and how it functions.
  • The Allied Healthcare Mentor Work Experience. I received high quality information from various healthcare workers explaining their role and a perspective into what their career is like giving me a vital point of view into healthcare. This was exceptionally useful as I have been provided with some future career options.

Accomplishments

  • I received The Governor's Award For Achievement When Faced With Adversity after graduating secondary school; which displays my ability to overcome many challenges.
  • Further to this, I have been awarded The Science Award for making the most progress and putting in hard work to ensure that I succeeded. I am very proud of this award because only one person could receive it and I know that it completely reflects the amount of effort that I put towards my work.
  • During my time at school I received the Silver Tie Award in Year 10 and the Gold Tie Award in Year 11 for most progress made in the year group. This made me proud because I was recognised by many members of staff for my effort. Only a select few received this award allowing me to display my achievement; this award served me as a reminder that working hard pays off.
