Jake Shephard Deckhand

I am looking for a role as a Deckhand. I am a confident person who has worked with SEN children from ages 5-16 over the last 6 years. I worked primarily as a PE teacher and had other roles in the school in which I had to show many leadership skills whilst also working in operations. I have also created two of my own successful businesses, a football coaching business and a social media business, displaying networking and entrepreneurial skills from managing them both. My job in education was extremely active, often moving around all day and working a lot of overtime, showing that I work hard for what I am passionate about. I am really excited about yachting, and I am eager to progress in the industry as far as I can.

I am a very sporty and active person. I go to the gym multiple times a week and enjoy playing different sports socially and competitively. My favourite sports I have played are Rugby and Cricket, and I really love the camaraderie it gives me on and off the pitch. I also have a more adventurous side, most recently visiting Thailand for 3 weeks. I have a huge love for music, and have attended multiple music festivals. I love the outdoors, having grown up in the Scouts, and enjoy camping trips with friends and family. I am very comfortable socially, enjoying meeting people from all walks of life, and I don't feel out of my depth in many social situations. I always do my best in my job roles, whilst maintaining a balanced, healthy life and social life.
