Ambitious student with education in aviation seeking position as pilot. Knowledgeable about modern aviation technology and instrumentation. Detail-oriented with skill for utilising critical thinking to make safe and logical decisions quickly. I have loved aviation since I can remember and it is all I have wanted to do and be involved in and I am determined to make my dream come true. Once I finish my final steps of the course I want to first become an instructor to help other people like my self achive the dream of flying with the end goal of becoming an airline pilot.
While studying for my commercial pilots licence, i have been working part time as a delivery driver to help with living costs. It involves delievring parcels and food parcels to people and I can deliver up to 100 parcels a day. I really enjoying doing this job as it gives me a time to forget about my studies during stressful times and lets me see the world during my working hours. This has also taught me lessons while doing it such as to enjoy the times and things im doing and not to take life too seriously all the time and its okay to disconnect sometimes.
I began my studies on a modular course to take me from little experience to a commercial pilot at One Air pilot school in Malaga. I moved away from home at the age of 19 to start my new studies alone, which at the start i found very difficult due to never living alone but I took everyday as it came and involved my self in everything I could to make new friends and help my self settle into a new setting and culture. I have faced many challenging times while studying at the school with many flight cancellations due to weather/aircraft and other events, an unfortunate accident at the airfield affecting one of my friends here but I feel I have taken these upsets and learnt a valuable lesson from each one and moved forward in a positive mind-frame. In December 2024 i finished my 13 ATPL exams with all first time passes and an average of 94% pass rate and now im moving onto the final phase of my training which i am very excited for.
During my time studying at college I began working as a waiter along side to gain experience for life outside of education and help gain many skills i still use today, such as how to deal with stressful situations, how to carry my self, how to manage manage my time and commitments. Working at TGI's taught me alot of helpful lessons and also I gained many friends along the way. I feel that it has helped shaped my character and personality as well as giving me confidence to try new things.
I have learned many skills during my working and studying such as how to talk and manage people while working as a waiter I learned how to take bad news and situations and turn them into positives, while progressing forward while studying for pilots licence Another valuable lesson ive learnt while studying for my pilots licence is to not rush or panic, time is so important and managing the time i have to do a task is the most important thing to do as this brings me the best results I can produce I also feel very strongly about finishing what i start and while studying it has helped me to always find an answer to my problems no matter how long it takes
