After my 15th birthday I decided that I should ask if my dad needed any help with the work that he was doing, even if it was simply just carrying materials. This became a normality for me to show up on site and help my dad with many jobs and even to the extent of performing some jobs alone under supervision to ensure that I was learning skills as I progressed. After a few months of practice I became very consistent with my skills and became a useful labourer on site.

• Moved materials, resulting in a smooth workflow on the building site.
• Assisted skilled workers, such as carpenters and bricklayers, for timely project completion.
• Participated in site meetings to improve communication among crew members.
• Worked under harsh weather conditions with dedication and resilience.
• Maintained site cleanliness by promptly removing construction debris.
• Completed basic repairs on-site to reduce downtime.
