The start of the process includes operating a conveyor to transport an item of furniture onto a steel tongue. Once on the tongue it has to be prepped for packing, preparing a product can include; spraying the entire surface area with a protective, water based liquid. Furthermore, specific products require cardboard protection that has to be crafted to fit the area properly and some products have to be sent back to production for increased inspection. After prepping the products, I had to bag it in the correct sized bag and seal it up in such a way that prevented lose items from moving around too much and kept any moisture out. Finally the product is to be lifted by 2 onto a large trolley, ready to be dispatched.

• Picked, packed and pallatised warehouse goods, consistently exceeding warehouse performance targets.
• Minimised product damage while ensuring quality protection, and put away to specific task locations.
• Listened closely to instructions, carrying out duties as quickly as the "safe techniques" would allow.
• Reported issues and damages to senior warehouse staff, enabling prompt, effective resolutions. Such as the areas behind outside doors, where a lot water accumulates
• Moved heavy stock around by hand, or when the weight exceeds safe limits, using forklift truck or lifting gear.

• I spoke to customers about the problems they were experiencing and advised on what next steps were best for them
• Researched the market to find competitive pricing and appropriate methods to maximise customer satisfaction
• Maintained a clean and presentable work space
• Carried out tasks on schedule making sure everything was complete in good time
