After joining the Community team as a team lead, I quickly moved into management role leading a team of two people in driving the growth, engagement and impact of the Home Host Community team across Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

  • Implemented a new data-driven growth performance tracker to better track our growth strategies, which was quickly adopted by the EMEA team.
  • Took responsibility for hosting weekly team meetings, setting agendas, updating trackers, and assigning tasks, all geared towards successfully achieving our teams targets.
  • Influenced cross-functional teams to adopt a Community growth tactic within their campaigns - the first of its kind in the territory.

My role grew and developed over the years to adjust with the team and companies priorities, with a continued focus on driving supply and demand of Airbnb Experiences, while also leading and supporting a number of global initiatives.

  • Began my role focusing on growing our key account revenue across Northern Europe, achieving 145% growth in the first year verses a target of 141%.
  • With the outbreak of Covid-19, supported the launch of Online Experiences through recruitment and onboarding of new supply, including prospecting, onboarding and account managing two of the top 10 performing Online Airbnb Experiences globally.
  • Moved to focus on the travel rebound strategy and created and implemented a new supply lever - called 'declined campaign' - which went on to be the second best performing supply lever globally with a conversion of 5.43%, above the average of 2.8%.
  • Tasked with growing the companies largest accounts globally on Airbnb Experiences, achieving 1.31x YoY growth through the creation and implantation of strategic account management and regular business reviews.
  • Continuously working cross-functional with multiple stakeholders to influence support for a team typically underfuned.
