I was involved in the design and implementation of a Teen to Parent Violence Parenting programme in collaboration with Youth Justice and local authority.
I am registered with Social Work England to uphold my professional registration.
I have worked for 25 years within the local authority and the NHS with a wide range of partners agencies utilising my skills of MDT, inter- agency working and collaboration with health and social care partners to support children and families within the community.

Working in partnership across children's services and in other agencies to deliver a range of targeted and coordinated suited programmes. To support enabling families to receive timely interventions across the 0- 5 & 0-19 range to include planning reviewing interventions where appropriate I co facilitated a range of evidence based parenting and children programmes parents to support early education school readiness and targeted support.
I worked with families in the children centre 1-1 as well as outreach with vulnerable families within the community. I initiated and lead on CAF assessments, Early Help assessments contributed to child need plans attending multi agency meetings and conferences. My team was multi agency to include school health midwife, Perinatal teams schools and CAMHS to ensure a holistic approach to assessment and delivery a specific timely interventions .
I was also responsible for the recruitment, development and supervision of new staff, volunteers and community partners.
In this role I worked with young people and their parents to support them on various orders imposed by the court this included the assessment and delivery of parenting orders imposed by the youth court. Young people involved in the service often were assessed as having complex needs to include difficult systemic relationships, parental breakdown, edge of care along with peer and substance misuse related concerns. I also worked across prevention side of the team with a caseload of parents and young people who were at risk of offending. This role required me to complete parenting assessment and court reports and delivery of 1 to 1 and group parenting interventions. I was also responsible for the planning and coordination of group interventions across Cheshire East with a focus to support both parents and young people with the challenges they had with the aim to prevent and reduce criminal/ reoffending behaviour. This role required multi agency working to include Police, Social Care, Substance Misuse services and schools to ensure coordination and support of multi agency meetings and mental health to offer robust risk management and safety planning in working towards positive outcomes for young people.
