To devise and set up a Part-time Performing Arts Academy.
In 2002 I was approached by LIPA to set up a part time academy to complement and expand the arts education provision to both complement their courses and add value to their product range and income streams by LIPA Principal Mark Feartherstone- Witty.
LIPA were keen to replicate my schools in their image.
To provide extended provision and outreach programmes in and around the Merseyside and Sefton Communities.
I set up from initial concept to branding, costing, presentations and board level negotiation as Lipa is a Charity limited by guarantee and I developed the name LIPA 4:19 and all marketing strategies.
This included devising the project, project planning, regular partner meetings and outsourcing to providers, uniforms etc.
Recruiting Staff, Ensuring facilities met with all Health and Safety procedures including child protection and policy writing and all relevant authorities DBS, First Aid etc were fully utilised and trained and informed.
With an initial budget of £25,000 I created a part-time academy and developed enrichment curriculums and outreach programmes in the community.
