As an external Sales Rep I would not just "visit" a customer to only give them a current price list make small chit chat and go. That is ineffective and with a bit more aggression I would ask where and what price they are paying for items I can see they have on premises that I know I can sell to them and from that information strategize a sales plan on how they will buy items they presently buying elsewhere.

Engineering Plastics knowledge include Polyethylene, UHMW PE, Polypropylene, PVC, U-PVC, PET (Ertalyte and Vesconite), POMC Acetal, PTFE, Nylon, PEEK, PVDF and Phenolics like Tufnol. Signage and Digital is my knowledge forte which includes detailed knowledge of Monomeric, Polymeric and Cast pigmented and Digital products especially in the Grafitack and Avery Dennison brands but also includes HTV vinyls, Wallpaper Vinyls, Textiles, laminates and specialty vinyls. Highlight of my time with NuMetro Cinemas was my branch in Walmer Park Port Elizabeth had the highest profit margin in the whole country for two Quarters of 2007. I especially planned and executed dozens of "Girls Night Out" events with great success which involved organizing entertainment and games, prizes, sponsors before the pre release screening. I MC'd these events myself and was even contracted to do a few events even after I had left NuMetro and was already working at Maizey Plastics.
In my short time with Steers I really improved the standards and profits of the store for the owners, with them often saying they wish they could clone me and have me in all their stores (as at the time they owned all the Debonairs stores in PE and as far as George).
