I have been a qualified nurse for twenty years.

I have worked throughout the hospital setting, starting my career on a busy general paediatric ward, later moving into emergency care within the children's accident and emergency department.

I was a band six senior sister within emergency care for many years, before more recently leaving the NHS to work for a nursing agency where I have done regular shifts within children's health care settings.

I am an experienced healthcare professional, who over the many years of my career I have gained vast skills and experience.

As well as my clinical skills and ongoing development within my field of nursing, as a senior sister I had many managerial responsibilities, working as part of a team but also independently.

I am empathetic, with robust communication and problem-solving skills, combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.

I demonstrate proficiency in clinical procedures and adeptness in managing patient records.

I am committed to adhering to my code of professional conduct and have a strong awareness of the importance of accurate record keeping and confidentiality.

I am computer literate with good IT skills and have had to learn and adapt to many different computer programmes throughout my career.

I feel I can take on a challenging new role harnessing interpersonal skills, collaboration and problem-solving.

I am driven to deliver high-quality service and consistent results.
