CAREER ARC

I am at heart a life long learner, curious about children and their development and committed to ensuring they find their voice and  reach their learning potential.  My career arc, therefore has led me from speech therapy, through to cognitive mediation.  This led into teaching in mainstream and special school before taking on the the role of SENCo.  From there I specialised in the teaching and assessment of pupils with SpLD and dyslexia.  I am excited therefore at the unique opportunity Marleybone Bridge School is offering to support a caseload across specialist and mainstream settings, delivering impactful therapy in schools where communication is embedded throughout the curriculum.  I believe my niche skill set will further ensure that I work closely with education staff to embed strategies to develop communication and the wider multidisciplinary team.
