I oversaw a variety of jobs across an arable farm, totalling approximately 500 hectares of owned, rented and contracted land. Growing combinable crops, principally wheat, barley, oilseed rape, beans, peas, linseed. My roles include;

• Operating and maintaining the combine during harvest.
• Full drilling duties, using a range of machines.
• General cultivation and tractor work on a variety of machines
• regular spraying duties.

As my role moved into more of a management role, my duties included;

• Overseeing fertiliser planning and agronomy strategies.
• Managing our environmental schemes, moving from mid tier to the sustainable farming incentive.
• Maintaining good practice and accurate records to ensure red tractor status.

I performed a range of jobs typical of a medium sized arable farming operation. Cultivations, drilling, harvesting, machinery and building maintenance, and maintaining good records and ensuring traceability in all practices.

• Assisted lead gardeners in raising and maintaining standards of presentation for domestic gardens.
• Duties such as mowing, strimming, edging, bush trimming.
• Produced immaculate gardens with detailed pruning and weed control.

• Selected efficient routes in compliance with delivery instructions and fuel policies, continually meeting company targets.
• Completed daily pre-trip inspection checklists ahead of customer drop-offs, maintaining order and delivery accuracy.

• Engaged with guests to create positive rapport, encouraging loyalty and repeat visits.
• Maintained bar stocks, replenishing daily as necessary.
• Performed bar closing duties, thoroughly cleaning, sanitising and replenishing stock.
• Prepared mixed drinks and poured wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages within target service timeframes.
