Accomplishments

Operation Raleigh Expedition – Borneo, June–August 2015 (10 weeks)
Participated in a 10-week expedition in Borneo, working across three distinct project phases with rotating teams of 10–12 young adults (aged 18–25). The experience developed my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in remote and challenging environments.

  • Anti-Poaching Support (Construction Project): Contributed to the construction of infrastructure aimed at supporting local anti-poaching operations, helping to protect endangered wildlife.
  • WASH Project (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene): Helped implement a sustainable clean water supply system for a remote village located approximately seven hours from the nearest hospital, significantly improving community access to safe drinking water.
  • Jungle Expedition (Leadership & Teamwork): Planned and undertook a 12-day jungle trek. Took on the role of group leader on two occasions, responsible for morale, safety, route planning, and coordination of nightly camp duties.
