Work history

Kitchen Assistant

The Grove Care Home, Grimsby
Grimsby
01.2022 - 09.2025
  • My time at The Grove has helped me to become more independent and to manage my time more effectively. My main role is to wash the lunch and dinner pots and to plate up meals for the residents but I always make an effort to come out of the kitchen and converse with the residents and their families in a manner that is clean and safe for both me and them. I have had to take control when the chef or my manager has had to leave the kitchen and this has helped me to stand on my own. Teamwork is very prevalent in this job so this has helped to set me up for future job opportunities.
