Experienced and committed music educator with a specialism in advanced music theory and contemporary performance practices, including jazz, rock, and metal. With over six years of teaching experience and a strong background in extended-range guitar, I bring both academic depth and real-world industry insight to the classroom. My touring experience across major UK hardcore venues and festivals informs a practical, industry-relevant approach to teaching, helping students connect theory with authentic performance contexts.
I am passionate about inclusive education and have worked extensively with learners from challenging backgrounds, using music as a powerful vehicle for engagement, expression, and personal development. This has inspired me to complete a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training and pursue ongoing study in behavioural science and educational psychology to better meet the diverse needs of college learners. I am DBS certified and committed to developing accessible digital resources, maintaining high safeguarding standards, and continually evolving my practice to meet the demands of modern music education.

Outside of teaching, I’m an avid guitarist and collector of rare and extended-range instruments, reflecting my deep connection to music beyond the classroom. I enjoy collecting vinyl records, with a particular interest in vintage and alternative releases. My passion for history, Japanese art, and Italian cooking allows me to explore culture and creativity from different perspectives. I also appreciate self-expression through tattoos and piercings, and value individuality and authenticity—qualities I encourage in my students.
