During my time working at Brookdale i was tasked to carry out regular 6 weekly inspections as well as MOT preparation, repairing driver defects and servicing of our fleet of 50 heavy goods vehicles, as well as a number of call-outs for on site work and repair including but not limited to engine fault diagnosis and repair, water leaks as well as mobile tyre fitting callouts.

• Complied with industry standards during repair work for quality assurance.
• Maintained clean and organised workspace to ensure safety regulations were met.

In my time at JB hgv i carried out regular servicing and repairs to fleet workvans mainly being mercedes sprinters ford transits and vw crafters, any work from engine diagnosis to suspension component replacement, clutches brakes and tyres all done on site

• Improved shop efficiency by implementing time management techniques.
• Prepared vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring high pass rates.
• Completed detailed vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance.

Managed customer interactions by addressing complaints, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, and preparing detailed invoices for parts and labour.

Completed LGV S&M technician apprenticeship, acquiring essential skills from experienced technicians and assisting me in achieving level 3 qualification.

• Guided customers in understanding vehicle requirements, enhancing client relations through effective communication.
• Ensured cleanliness of work area to support a safe and efficient environment.

Here i was function/bar staff in a very customer-based hospitality environment helping me establish better customer communication as a transferable skill to the motor trade.
