Jacob Gryn, a London-born and raised musician, has made a name for himself as a highly skilled Bassist at just 21 years old. He has had the privilege of performing with a diverse range of artists in esteemed venues such as O2 Shepard's Bush Empire, The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, OMEARA, The Jazz Cafe, and Pizza Express Live! + many other. Notably, he has showcased his talent at renowned festivals including Cross The Tracks, Love Supreme, Cheltenham Music Festival, We Out Here, and The London Jazz Festival.
In addition to his exceptional bass playing, Jacob is actively involved in songwriting and composition. He collaborates with various artists, merging his own ideas with their creative vision to produce beautiful pieces of music.
Teaching comes naturally to Jacob, due to his comprehensive education at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, BIMM, Tomorrow's Warriors and The Royal Academy, this has led to an exposure to many different teaching styles. With his vast interest in a wide range of genres, he consistently finds innovative and captivating ways to keep students engaged and present.
He has organized and produced music events and has also worked part-time in the hospitality industry, cultivating excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for finding effective solutions. With his ability to connect with people, he leaves a lasting impression on everyone he encounters.
