I am an outgoing, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. Having recently completed my first year studying Theatre at the University of York, I have developed strong confidence, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people. During my gap year, I travelled independently in Thailand and Canada, where I spent two months leading the drama department at a summer camp, developing leadership, organisation, and teamwork skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
Alongside my studies, I have gained valuable customer-facing experience through roles in hospitality, retail, and food service, including working at the Exeter Arms, as a fast-food crew member, and most recently as a butcher at Morrisons during the busy Christmas period. These roles have strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, provide excellent service, and contribute positively as part of a team.
I am a naturally positive and sociable person who enjoys meeting new people and creating welcoming experiences for customers. Outside of work, I am passionate about music, film, and performance. I regularly perform live guitar sets and enjoy attending concerts and festivals. I take pride in being hardworking, self-motivated, and approachable, and I am eager to bring my energy, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic to a customer-focused role this summer.
