- General non-surgical procedures such as monitoring, treatment implementation, preparation of patient for surgery, discharge and parenteral fluids etc.
- Safe practices of handling and restraint of dogs, cats and other small mammals
- General Animal Husbandry - exercise, nutrition and grooming care and enrichment
- Other Nursing jobs such as packing surgical kits, sterilisation, stock management and cleaning to clinical standards
- Communication between team of nurses and vets and clients
- Client Assistance - reception roles (taking payments, booking appointments, answering phone and more).
- Referrals to more specialist practices such as Small Animal Hospitals or Specialist Providers in Ophthalmology, Cardiology and Neurology etc.
