Providing low level mental health support, by fostering trusting relationships with Young People within two secondary schools in Dumfries. This is an early intervention project to help support young people with their mental health issues. I have overall responsibility for my own case load on a day to day basis and record keeping while adhering to Child Protection measures and GDPR while also adhering to Data Protection legislation, ensuring that all records, including personal, staff, and client data, are handled in accordance with Data Management and Information Governance policies. Follow legal and regulatory requirements, including the provisions outlined in the Health and Safety at Work Act while also comply with the Dumfries and Galloway Council's Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies which include promptly inform a line manager of any concerns that arise.

Since completing my SCOTACS Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Group Work, I also provide accredited group work sessions and implement CBT into sessions where appropriate.

Partnership working and liaising with several local and national organisations such as Women's Aid, Youth Justice, Rape Crisis, Children's reporter, Social Work and further sign posting as and when required.
