· I provide emergency treatment to people in my local area.
· I am dispatched by my NHS ambulance service to certain types of medical emergency (999) calls.
· I respond to these calls in my own car to patients in their homes, workplaces, or public locations.
· A CFR call can involve anything from simply reassuring the patient until the emergency services arrive, to providing immediate emergency treatment. Above all, it’s about being there for people in my community.
· I am on-call from my home.
· Treating patients within agreed scope of practice and making referrals for advanced medical support in line with Pre-Hospital Early Warning Score as appropriate.
· Provide assistance to colleagues, Healthcare Professionals and wider emergency services where needed.
· Act in a professional manner always whilst representing Heart Medical.
· Maintain high standard of appearance, fitness for role and wear Heart Medical Uniform with pride ensuring compliance with standards of dress policy.

· Ensure, high standard of paperwork, including patient care records (PCR).
· Attend any training events as deemed appropriate by Heart Medical to maintain competency and personal development for role. Act as mentor to new members of the team as required.

· Independent Visitor (IV) is a volunteer who visits and befriends a child or young person living in care. Children and young people in care have often experienced trauma and a lack of consistent adult relationships. The IV may be the one constant adult they have in their life.
