Working as a site supervisor, I would be taking on a managerial role and running jobs from beginning to end alongside a team of electricians. As the company is responsible for the mechanical and electrical package I not only have to deal with the electrical works, but also help to resolve mechanical issues. Furthermore, I must work closely with the project manager and the clients to make sure all the needs are met within the deadlines and budgets.

I began to work as a self-employed electrician focused mainly on domestic installation and the maintenance of electronic systems. I have excellent rapport with clients as I diagnose and fault find to recommend solutions to them. I also project manage new installations, write invoices and conduct work to a high standard in line with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Worked my way up from an apprenticeship to being a fully qualified electrical engineer in a commercial and industrial setting.Icarriedoutavarietyofelectricalinstallationandmaintenanceworkincludingthewiring andinstallationof newelectronicequipment,buildinginstallationsandupgradingpresentfixtures.Wealsodid periodic testing to diagnose faults and conduct repairs. Being driven and ambitious, I eventually ran jobs in which I managed a team, worked

collaboratively with other trades and worked effectively under pressure to conduct high quality work to a tight

deadline.
