During my time volunteering as a coach in India with a London based football academy, I was responsible for supporting and supervising a group of 16 to 18 - year-old boys both on and off the pitch. My role included ensuring that all risk assessments, health and safety procedures, safeguarding policies and curfews were followed at all times, whilst also managing daily schedules , and the welfare of the players throughout the programme. I also worked closely with the Oscars foundation to provide sessions for the local children.
