I am a happy, friendly and caring person who has a genuine love for working with children. Being part of their early years and watching them grow, learn and develop into their own little personalities is something I find incredibly special.
I am a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner with over nine years of experience working with children. Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to care for lots of wonderful children and help them through some of their most important early milestones.
One of my favourite parts of working in a nursery is building those special bonds with the children and their families. I understand how important it is for parents to feel happy and reassured when leaving their little ones in someone else's care. I take great pride in building trusting relationships and making sure parents feel included in their child's day, sharing all those lovely moments and achievements along the way.
I am naturally creative and enjoy coming up with new activities that capture children's imaginations , support their development and follow EYFS framework. I especially love spending time outdoors and believe children learn so much from exploring nature and the world around them.
I am always keen to learn, improve and develop my skills further.
Most importantly, I genuinely love what I do. Knowing that I can make a positive difference to a child's day, help them feel secure and happy, and be part of their early learning journey is what makes working in childcare so rewarding to me.
In my current role at Honey Bea's Nursery, I have continued to develop my passion for providing children with a happy, safe and nuturing place to learn and grow. I have been room lead for five months, supporting the team and helping to ensure the room ran smoothly.
I love getting to know each and every child as an indvidual, understanding their personalities, intersets and needs, and helping them feel comfortable, confident and settled in their nursery envirnioment.
During my five years at Little Boots Nursery, I gained invaluable experience caring for young children and supporting them throught their early years. I completed my apprenticeship there, spending lots of time in a farm environment and exploring the outdoors. This gave me wonderful opportunities to support children's learning through nature, outdoor play and hands-on experience.
This role helped me grow in confidence, develop my childcare skills and discover just how rewarding working with children can be.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, making memories and enjoying new experiences together.
I have a keen love for animals. I love travelling, exploring new places and discovering beautiful countryside walks. I also enjoy cooking, babysitting and expressing my creativity through arts and crafts.
I am happiest when I am keeping busy, spending time outdoors, learning new things and helping others. I enjoy bringing positivity and warmth to the people around me and always look forward to making the most of life's little adventures.
