Jack Morgan

I am a highly motivated individual with a passion for Technology and Programming. I am currently in my first year studying at the University of Wolverhampton. I am taking a BSc Computer Science Degree. I chosen to take this degree due to my interest in computing and working with different software's and technology. So far I have been working with Programming Software's such as Python, HTML, PHP, SQL and CSS. The language that I have gained the most experience in so far is Python as I have created lots of different programs using the language. I have also found an interest in building embedded circuits which I done very well in and enjoyed doing. I have since experimented in my spare time to build physical circuits.

I also have a massive interest in the Gaming industry and particularly enjoy the social interactive side of it. I have experience creating unique products on a variety of software such as: Photoshop, Filmora. I am a confident reader and communicator and can show this by way of the videos I create and narrate. I am a part of the YouTube Partner program and work alongside other creators to bring the best content possible to my audience. I have a wide knowledge of using various types of all the latest technology and keep myself up to date. I can offer commitment, reliability and a reputation as being a hard working honest team member who has excellent interpersonal skills.

Social Media Platforms & Community Managing

• Discord Community Managing- I moderate the Brawl Recruit server for Supercell. In this role my job is to look over the server, help members when they need help, kick/ban members when they are in violation of the server rules and to keep all members safe from harmful content and messages on the server. In this role I have to communicate with other moderators to make important decisions and be a helpful and trusted team member. I also moderate the official Clash Of Lords 2 server for IGG and own my own community gaming server for my gaming organization.

• YouTube Channel- I am part of the YouTube Partner Program. I have my own YouTube Channel- OpsterGaming, I create videos related to Gaming and Technology and mainly create How to and Advice videos to help my audience in understanding certain things in these areas.

• Fandom Wiki’s- I create Wiki’s for my YouTube Channel and Clans that I run using Cascade Style Sheets.

• Advertising- I utilize social media platforms for my YouTube Channel and Clans professionally using Platforms such as- Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, Twitter, TikTok and more.

• Websites- I can create websites using HTML on software’s such as Dreamweaver. I can also create websites through online platforms such as WordPress.

Education Awards:

During my time in the Telford Priory School, I received the Mathematics Achievement Award three years on the run. In Telford College I was nominated as Student Representative for all three of the subjects I studied: Media, Film and Photography. As Student Rep I had responsibilities such as reporting back to the head of the college on how the teaching is in the class. I also had the responsibility of being the person that people reported things to if they had an issue and needed advice on where to go and who to speak to about it. This I feel was a fantastic opportunity for me and allowed me to take up some responsibilities and get experience in these types of situations.

Personal Achievements:

I have many achievements through the work I do at home. These consist of editing and producing videos and sharing them on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, TikTok and many more. I have gained a following of over 1600 subscribers and over 300,000 views on my YouTube channel. I have also reached the Monetization requirements which enables me to be able to earn money through the YouTube channel and start partnerships as well as get sponsors.

I have also helped my family business with some website work of adding products and creating banners to display. I like to think that I show great leadership qualities through playing multi-platform games. I am the creator of the Opsters Empire who have lots of clans across many different games. Over the years I have gained a loyal following from members who I have managed within the community. I also manage and advise leaders of the clans to ensure everything goes smooth within the clans. Over the years I have grown the community expanding to more games, creating more clans, finding new people to help lead and manage the clans and make affiliations with other top global clans and build communications. Through this I feel I have gained a lot of skills when it comes to working as a team, growing connections and building on communication and community management as well as user safety.
