Summary

I have just finished my first year at Derby College studying a multi-trade course in construction. Over 4 terms I have studied four different trades, Plastering, Painting and decorating, Joinery & Carpentry (wood work) and Bricklaying. The reason I chose this course was to widen my knowledge of different construction trades, to open my mind to a variety of options for my second year. I have applied for Joinery for my 2nd year and I have been accepted. My current attendance at college is 95%. This along with excellent punctuality and organisation skills helped support my application for my 2nd year at college. My good time keeping and high at attendance at college is something I am very proud of.
