I Initially joined Intouch as an apprentice through QA and I gained a Qualification in Level 3 Information Communications Technician - Azure Cloud Support Specialist and achieved a Pass.
I am now studying for a Foundation degree in Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist to deepen my knowledge and allow me to hopefully have a role in the cyber security space.
I now work Fulltime and my day to day consists of answering phone calls and responding to emails for issues customers are having and raising tickets and resolving those issues on first contact ideally or at a later date if further testing or work is required. These issues range from fixing Broadband faults to diagnosing issues on a company's server.
I also help monitor our networks and our crucial parts of business networks such as switches, routers and servers.
My day can vary as I help both our residential broadband customers and our service contract customers in dealing with any issues and escalating tickets if needed.
I also help our service contracts setup new users and make sure the have the right licenses and permissions so they can start work straight away.
