I am a dedicated and energetic sports assistant with a recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport, Fitness and Coaching with The Open University. By studying this degree and being involved in coaching spanning six years at Strathallan School and Loretto School, it has allowed me to develop hand on skills, competence, confidence and practical experience by applying theoretical knowledge directly into my work. I have played for Scotland U19 and U17 squads in both Lacrosse and Cricket. The experience gained from coaching in a school environment and as a ski instructor, combined with playing sport from such a young age, has made me extremely competent in teaching children of all ages in a variety of sports. It has also allowed me to develop an understanding of how children best respond to different ways of coaching. My personable and lively character allows me to communicate and interact with others very easily and combined with my outgoing approach to all patrons allows me to ensure that all children’s and staff needs are met to high standards. The passion and love I have for sport is displayed in my commitment and willingness to go above and beyond in each and very role.
