Summary

DOB: 29/07/2001

I am an exciting, new-ball pace bowler currently playing for Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club 1st XI in the WEPL Gloucestershire as well as captaining the University of the West of England 1st XI.

Having grown up playing for Paignton Cricket Club, I made my way through the youth setup and into Paignton's 1st XI, playing in the Premier Division of the Devon Cricket League. Since moving to Bristol to study towards becoming a primary school teacher, I have represented the University of the West of England’s 1st XI for three years and captained the side for two, leading them to a league title and promotion last year.

Coaching Cricket

On top of my contributions on the field, I also have a rich coaching resume including coaching at both club and county level in Devon, coaching grassroots cricket to all ages through local primary schools and the club’s colts section, as well as managing and coaching the Devon U13 girls, U15 girls and Women’s county and development sides, which has led to me being awarded the Grassroots Game Changer award and the Devon Young Coach of the Year in 2021.

Playing Cricket

Playing for the University of the West of England and Chipping Sodbury this year, I have been an important figure both on and off the pitch. At the halfway stage of the season, across all formats I have taken 28 wickets, with an average of 13.41 and a strike rate of 21.14 in league matches. I also have the 2nd lowest average and economy rate in the WEPL Gloucestershire, which we currently sit top of and are in the driving seat to win the league and gain promotion to WEPL Prem 2 for the first time in Chipping Sodbury's history.

Back home in Devon, I have a total of 132 league wickets at an average of 17.46 and a strike rate of 25.95. Over this time, I won Bowler of the year for Paignton Cricket Club in 2023 and helped us to reach two cup finals, as well as being one of the leading wicket takers in the league in 2021.
