I am a Year 13 student currently in my final year of A-Levels in Economics, Accounting and Business. I love every aspect of business and all the challenges and problem solving that come with it. These have been evident in real life as for the past year, I have been running a successful e-commerce store with Amazon where I have been selling toys, household items and merchandise globally, earning me a passive income whilst in education. I have proficiency in Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience in other programs such as Fusion 360 and Python. I wish to be working in an dynamic environment where there are lots of problems to be solved, work to be done and end goals to be achieved.
Whilst studying at Kirkham Grammar School, I participated in Combined Cadet Force in the RAF Contingent, reaching the rank of Lance Corporal. Being in the RAF cadets allowed me to experience things such as survival, weapons training, first aid and flight, where I had the opportunity to fly a Grob Tutor aircraft. I also participated in events such as training camps, marching parades and Remembrance Sunday events. This experience taught me discipline and the importance of teamwork. Upon leaving Kirkham Grammar School to continue my education journey, I received the Jason Awbery-Taylor Award for Innovation in Technology for my Design Technology project, consisting of a fully 3D-printed can-cooler, for which I received a grade 9. At the end of my first year at Runshaw College, I was nominated for and received the Student of the Course award for A-Level Business, which was in recognition of my hard work throughout the year.
