- Teaching
- One of the main criteria for winning the Skillbond award for best overall laboratory proficiency was to do with peer teaching. Education is an area of particular interest to me. Learning of course is central, however, the ability to assist other's progression is also extremely gratifying.
- Delivery of oral health talks within a local primary school in Northern Ireland, aimed at primary 6 students.
- Service development
- Carried out an audit on antimicrobial prescribing amongst dental students and staff of Aberdeen University and offered suggestions regarding antimicrobial stewardship.

- Effective communication with patients, supervisors, and dental nurses during student clinics to ensure smooth and efficient appointments, and delivery of patient centered care.
- Conducted and presented a critical appraisal of the restoration of the root filled tooth for dental students and a panel of qualified dentists.
