I started altrad as a basic scaffolder on predominantly oil and gas sites. Before supervising and being trained in the offshore sector, I am currently a offshore charge hand scaffolder. Some of my duties include:

• Tagging and handing over completed scaffolds
• Adhered to health and safety practices at all times to reduce risk and injury
• Accepting work permits
• Giving toolbox talks and completing POWRA
• Co-ordinating scaffold erection around other trades
• Writing risk assessments and Method statements for work activities

At lyndons i was a basic scaffolder that erected and dismantled a variety of scaffolds which included work on Europe's biggest project which was the manchester town hall refurbishment. Some of our jobs here included:

• Carried out all scaffolding duties adhering to strict health and safety regulations for optimal staff wellbeing.
• Erecting scaffolding to design drawings.
• Transported materials using hauling and hoisting equipment.

I worked at network as a basic scaffolder, however, I worked along side numerous advanced scaffolders and supported on predominantly advanced jobs such as: hangers on bridges for refurbishment, we also supported network rail and Murphys on several rail projects

I started my scaffolding career at PDL scaffolding as a labourer working on a range of sites from domestic to commercial. Here i learned some of the key skills needed to make a scaffolder such as:
