Summary

I have over 25 years extensive knowledge and experience both personally and professionally of working with children with additional needs. My passion for working with children with additional needs happened organically and from a very young age. My brother has severe global developmental delay, he is non-verbal and a wheelchair user.

Within my school role as a teaching assistant for just over 10 years I play an integral part not only supporting children educationally but also with their mental and physical well-being. Some of the vulnerabilities mean they need help making healthy food choices encouragement to exercise, support with hygiene and life skills. Also helping to regulate and manage their emotions and communicate effectively.
