As a recent graduate, I am looking to utilise my education to begin my professional career. I've held a number of different working positions alongside my studies. These roles, in conjunction with my education have helped to shape my mindset into one of a hardworking, team player who thrives on the opportunity to lead and teach others but also enjoys working with and learning from more experienced collaborators.
Undertaking this role, I was thrust into a customer facing position, where quick thinking, problem solving, and rapport building are vital, allowing me to develop a strong problem-solving skillset. Building confidence in my ability to approach any situation and leave with a positive outcome. As a security colleague, I am accountable for ensuring the safety of those in store, deterring theft and other criminal activity, monitoring CCTV cameras and fire alarm systems, liaising with relevant authorities and engineers as well as working closely with management to implement new anti-theft programs on emerging high theft lines. Due to my adaptability and my eagerness to learn, I was offered training in several other departments. Currently I am trained to as a member of the admin team, where I utilise a number of cash management programs to record store financials as well as banking cash and ordering change. In addition I'm trained as a self-service host, till supervisor and as a member of the home shopping team.
Alongside my primary employment at ASDA, I began working as a AI Quality Analyst, a highly flexible position that I balance around my shift work. In this role, I evaluate and correct AI-generated responses in order to ensure accuracy, relevance and the adherence to specified guidelines. This work has allowed me to demonstrate and further develop my attention to detail and analytical thinking. I have critically assessed AI outputs in order to enhance their quality and precision, ensuring compliance with strict standards while delivering clear and constructive feedback, even on the most subtle issues.
