I entered the construction industry as a scaffolder and, during the COVID-19 lockdown, demonstrated entrepreneurial drive by successfully launching a food business. This experience reflects my proactive mindset and commitment to achieving success under challenging circumstances.
Following the pandemic, I joined the HS2 project as a scaffolder, where I quickly developed a keen interest in civil engineering. My initiative and leadership potential led to a promotion to Site Supervisor, overseeing multiple infrastructure projects, including the construction of overpass bridges and a complex bridge installation using a machine-operated pulley system—delivered smoothly through effective collaboration and management.
Currently, I serve as a Site Supervisor at Lagan MEICA, contributing to the upgrade of wastewater treatment facilities across the UK. I have successfully managed multiple sites, consistently delivering projects to a high standard.
I am actively pursuing an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management and preparing to complete a Lifting Supervisor course, with the goal of becoming an Appointed Person. My qualifications include First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Fire Marshal certification, Temporary Works Supervision, Working at Height, and Confined Space training.
I am a highly motivated and adaptable professional with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to learn quickly. My late entry into the trade has been a strength, allowing me to bring fresh perspective and enthusiasm to every role I undertake.
