- On a day to day basis I would work in different departments of the warehouse, picking a variety of items including high value food and drink, cased items or heavy and bulky stock
- Multi tasking was massively involved within the warehouse as the environment is fast paced which requires you to work efficiently in order to meet the pick rate, as well as making sure each pallet is wrapped securely and to a good standard to prevent any damage to stock
- The Range encouraged each employee to maintain a good standard of health and safety and vigilance within the warehouse.This means each employee was required to undertake in depth health and safety training as well as a written test to prove competency

- The role was predominantly team focused which required me to work closely with other team members from different departments of the warehouse
- The company supplied various mechanical parts for the use on heavy machinery or large vehicles meaning the weight or size of product could differentiate
- Once an order has been completed it would be my job to dispatch it to the required location using manual handling equipment such as a pump truck
- I would be assigned an order each day requiring me to work from drawings on a computer, carefully selecting products or components ready to be repackaged and dispatched accordingly
- Although I worked at this company through a recruitment agency on a temporary basis during a busy period, I still believe I gained enough knowledge and skills which I could indefinitely transfer
