-Left the Royal Marines whilst conducting a Close Protection role alongside my transition to civilian life

-A short period between moving units where I was based back at 43 Commando, safeguarding The United Kingdom's Nuclear Deterrent. This includes crossdeck drills and boarding drills on an operational level. (Jan - Apr)

-Acted as a First Coxswain onboard Pacific Sea Boat 24's to escort various Warships and Royal Fleet Auxiliary ships of different Nationalities into the British Waters surrounding Diego Garcia

-Managed maintenance and upkeep of 2 Pacific Sea Boat 24's and 1 Rigid Raider Craft in order to keep a waterborne asset

-Crossdeck and VBSS on unknown vessels

-Successfully completed 'Outer Island Sovereignty Patrols' protecting the sea life from shark fishing that is often carried out by illegal fishing vessels. This included the safe collection and delivery of Military Personnel to and from small, coral surrounded islands

-Successfully escorted the safe passage of an 'Unseaworthy' Migrant Vessel containing over 200 civilians on board in to Diego Garcia.

-Acted as Part of a specialised team responsible for the safe passage of the United Kingdoms Vanguard class Nuclear Submarines in and out of port, to ensure the safeguarding of the British Nuclear Deterrent (Trident)

-I worked alongside MOD Police with precision and professionalism until the mission essential tasks had been successfully completed

-Operated on joint exercises in the United States with MOD Police, members of the United States Coast Guard and United States Marine Corps in the Control Room and 'On the Ground' in real time scenarios

-VBSS training with Foreign forces and Royal Marines

-I was the second Coxswain onboard a small Landing Craft during the Migrant crisis in Libya. Showing professionalism, Commitment and empathy towards foreign nationals in their time of need. I directly helped save around 4000 Migrants fleeing from Libya in often, unseaworthy vessels and harsh conditions

-I remained in the role of second Coxswain until the end of this employment period

-I operated and trained other Marines on the 'Davit System' onboard HMS Bulwark/Albion during multiple Amphibious exercises and operations, sometimes in unfavourable conditions and sea states

-Successfully completed Royal Marines Landing Craft 3 course

-Successfully completed Advanced Powerboat Certificate

- Successfully completed Outboard Maintenance Course

-Conducted VBSS training

-Achieved Shortwave Radio certification

-Obtained HGV license and served as a driver for two years.

-Contributed to logistical support within 42 Commando and the wider 3 Commando Brigade

-Operated various Civilian and Military vehicles during exercise and operations in all terrain and adverse weather conditions

-Ensured the safe transportation of personnel and supplies within the United Kingdom and Europe

-Completed Child Safeguarding courses

-Operated in a three man team, travelling to schools and colleges delivering power point presentations and fitness circuits

-Joined the 'Royal Marines Look At Life' team where by 30+ children came to Lympstone Commando for an insight to Military life

-Successfully completed pre deployment training for Operation Herrick 14

-Successfully completed Operation Herrick 14, Afghanistan. Nadali North, Helmand Province as a rifleman where we actively worked along side the Afghanistan National Police (ANP) in order to hold ground from the Taliban

-Completed patrols working out of a small check point where I was often the point man leading the rest of the section, through rough terrain and busy, built up areas whilst keeping focused on the task in hand

-At the age of 17 I left home to join the Royal Marines

-Successfully completed 32 weeks Royal Marines Commando Training and earned my 'Coveted Green Beret' with a vast knowledge in soldiering and tactics
