Summary

I am a hardworking, determined and resourceful individual, with a strong foundation in problem-solving and leadership. I am currently a student at Leading Edge Aviation, in the APS-MCC phase. Throughout my training I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the ever growing industry, and am excited to see where my journey takes me next. I can demonstrate exceptional communication skills and have the ability to remain calm under pressure, effectively managing workloads while fostering teamwork. With the skills that I have learnt from flight training, alongside the skills developed from my previous work experience, I believe I have created myself a strong foundation to continue this journey into the flight deck, as part of a leading airline.

Work history

Front and Back of House

Miller and Carter

2025.04 - Current
  • Hired initially as a food runner, with some bar work, I quickly progressed onto running expo, and then into the kitchen running the pass. This pushed me to quickly adapt in a fast paced environment, often serving over 300 customers a day.
  • I gained a wealth of experience in team work and communication, coordinating with both the kitchen and front of house staff, to ensure timely and efficient service during very busy periods.
  • I kept an emphasis on high standards, both in terms of customer service, and safety within the kitchen, employing the "Guest First" ethos of the company.
  • I was given the opportunity to train new food runners and kitchen staff, with an emphasis on efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Was eager to learn new skills, improving efficiency and productivity as I was able to cover many different areas of the business.
  • Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to learn, jumping in to help wherever I was needed.

  • Through teaching taekwondo, after achieving my 1st Dan Black belt, I have been able to hone my skills in communication, and situational awareness, running lessons with age ranges from 4-60.
  • Tailored my teaching style for all age groups, fostering gradual skill progression in all areas, with an emphasis on drawing out the best of the students individual abilities.
  • Helped to facilitate training camps for young students, promoting dedication and determination in the practice of Taekwondo.
  • Strengthened pupil's confidence by creating an environment for them to grow and develop new skills in.

  • Adhered strictly to health and safety guidelines during all outdoor pursuits, ensuing the safety of all students.
  • Maintained excellent communication with other instructors, regarding trip details, student progress, and safety expectations.
