In 2025 I decided to take the opportunity to volunteer with the Class 50 alliance at Kidderminster TMD. During my time with the alliance i have gained lots of knowledge both specific to the locomotives themselves and the of the wider operation of the railway.

In addition to maintenance duties I have recently been put forward to progress into an operational role as a shunter.
