Ivan Samardzija

As a main service technician my role was to diagnose, repair and maintaining agricultural machinery.

Repair and maintain Horticultural machinery.

Diagnose and repair chargeable internal and warrantable jobs.

Help my colleague with their jobs and breakdown difficulties.

Loading and unloading lorries.

I have successfully passed 4 CNH training courses and some others...

I enjoyed working here and gain a lot of experience on CNH tractors, Combines, Telehandlers and Balers from diagnosing electrical issue, software, controller faults, GPS problems, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics, brakes, engines, mechanical components...

Also various agricultural equipment such is seed drills, Lift trailer, small and large hedge cutters, fertilizer spreaders, sprayers, rollers, rotovators, ploughs...

Demonstrating good understanding of company's Health and Safety policy and following all companies procedures.

I learned a lot about life risks in this company as we had a lot of health and safety trainings, also heavy lifting trainings, movements of loads, properly attaching various machineries with lifting chains and lifting straps.

• My role starts as Machine Minder and Line Leader.
• My job was setup machines in the morning, running the line during the day and completing production paperwork, sometimes I was asked to do any other jobs as needed by the factory, I gained good team work experience there.

• My role was maintaining and repairing various horticultural machineries from small chainsaws to professional ride on mowers as well as selling machinery. Worked there as myself only in the workshop for 3 mounts
• I was involved in sales and costumer service which i really enjoyed
• I worked there for 6 months , then I decided to move in UK

For the first three months my role was delivering parts, equipments and machineries to costumers.

Afterwards I was working independently on servicing lorries, excavators, tractors ,various agricultural equipments, large utility vehicles , pressure washers, lawnmowers ,chainsaws, hedge cutters and professional ride on mowers. I have gained very good experience with hydraulics, engines, gearboxes and brakes.

I have become main Mechanic after about 1 year and kept this position until I left the Company.

I have enjoyed this job and improve my skills and knowledge.
