General Surgery:
- Examine surgical candidates in admissions unit
- Manage unwell patients with surgical complications whilst working efficiently and communicating, (and in some cases leading) a multidisciplinary team to deliver care
Acute medicine:
- Clerking and initiating management in patients being referred to the medical team.
- Working within (and at times leading) a multidisciplinary team to carry out advanced life support, and manage the deteriorating unwell patient.
- Communicate effectively between specialty teams to hand over patients care
- Teach medical students during normal working days about the role of a junior doctor and common challenges in Acute medicine
Psychiatry:
- Assess and initiate management (with appropriate supervision) to patients with deteriorating mental health
